Are you afraid that your creations will be compared to those of others? Are you questioning whether you have enough talent to see your creative dreams come true? Do you sometimes catch yourself feeling envious or jealous of other artists, performers, designers, entrepreneurs? The Heart chakra is all about our loving relationships with self, others, the divine/universe. When we feel separate and alone either through comparison, fault-finding, feeling less than we cut ourselves from the creative flow that is our birthright. And when we are prone to do so we need to reconnect to some gentle, soulful reminders that it is loving to be creative!

Yet so many of us live our lives with old programming operating in the background on a subconscious level. Fortunately, our soul knows that this inner soap opera of dramatic plot shifts is perfectly set up to empower us to be our truest, most authentic self. It does its best to prod us out of our comfort zone long enough for us to listen to its calling and recognize our gifts we are meant to share. 

Nonetheless there are aspects of ourselves that are resistant to getting on board with us truly honoring our creative impulses and seeing these through to creative fruition. Transforming these places where we are holding ourselves back out of fear is the key to unlocking the joy that expands from within us, from living a regret free life, where we show up in our fullest, most authentic, expression.

So balancing your heart chakra will reassure that hurt inner child that feeling connected to your creativity comes from participating in a healthier conversation with all aspects of the inner self. When this chakra is imbalanced you will have a tendency to isolate yourself when you feel disappointed. 

You may notice that at times you are focusing more time on justifying all the reasons why something won’t work rather than shifting your focus onto what you want to create. You may even find yourself relying too much on your head to search for answers, skipping over or dismissing your feelings and bodily sensations. 

As a result, there will be a greater likelihood of creative blocks as you are just generally feeling cut-off from your heart’s magnetic manifesting power. The heart chakra is the bridge, the connection, between heaven and earth, and when we reinforce its important function we remember it is loving to be creative!
