Are you experiencing writer’s block, dancer’s block, artist’s block? Are you feeling frazzled from too much over-thinking? Are you unsure if, even worried whether, there is a clear purpose behind your desire to create? Is the clock ticking, the days and months passing, and is life feeling more like a shriveled raisin than a juicy grape? The Crown Chakra is all about being online with the divine. On the one hand, we need time to ourselves to tune into our creative inspiration. On the other hand, there is a delicate balance to strike between hibernating in the creativity cave to renew our inspiration and isolating ourselves from others and life to avoid creating. You get to create your own story. Let your crown chakra inspire you to do that!

Interestingly, our crown and root chakras truly work in tandem. When we feel offline with the universe we tend to be more in survival mode and focused on fear in our root chakra. When we are feeling connected to higher vibrational frequencies and welcome them into our lives to guide and partner with us. Then we can relax our survival instincts and cultivate trust. This allowing of trust roots us into the here and now, letting us know that we are both grounded on earth and cared for by the divine. For when we are able to open our crown chakra and keep it balanced we remember we are that which we are seeking to create. And as we embody that knowing, more and more, we can more deeply relax into embracing the experience that it’s inspiring to be creative!

Yet so many of us live our lives with old programming operating in the background on a subconscious level. Fortunately, our soul knows that being in a spiritual Wi-Fi free zone is the perfect dilemma from which to really reconnect with our most creative self. Our soul does its best to prod us out of our comfort zone long enough for us to listen to its calling and recognize our gifts we are meant to share. 

Nonetheless there are aspects of ourselves that are resistant to getting on board with us truly honoring our creative impulses and seeing these through to creative fruition. Transforming these places where we are holding ourselves back out of fear is the key to unlocking the joy that expands from within us, from living a regret free life, where we show up in our fullest, most authentic, expression.

So balancing your crown chakra will reassure the doubting inner child that feeling truly connected to your creativity comes from being online with the divine. When this chakra is open but imbalanced you will have a tendency to either get lost in your ideas, meditation practices, channeling, exploring your spirituality, at the expense of taking passionate action from that inspiration. Conversely, you may chronically question, or even dismiss, your inspirations outright with your logical, left-brain.

You may notice that at times you are more in your head than your body whichever end of the spectrum you gravitate towards. As a result, you may experience anxiety, loneliness, depression, fear of change, fear of uncertainty, and general creative paralysis. Conversely, you may feel overwhelmed by so many ideas and so much information that you end up getting stuck, drained, or exhausted. 

These imbalances can leave you feeling discombobulated and nervous. After all, the crown chakra is the gateway through which your inspiration enters, and when the door is either barred or is letting everything and the kitchen sink in indiscriminately, we need an energy tune-up. Our conscious awareness is the filter that graciously allows us stay open to our highest guidance so we can truly stay online with the divine, re-aligning us with a deep knowing that it's inspiring to be creative!
